Central to Seva Mandir's Covid-19 response is spreading awareness of the virus. We have partnered with Plan International to ensure the people and communities we work with are aware of the latest government guidelines and how to prevent and protect themselves from the virus.

The awareness campaign has focused on the symptoms of Covid-19, how to protect those most at risk, quarantine methods, and more.

For 16 year-old Kishan, the awareness campaign helped him and his family understand the necessary measures they needed to take to protect themselves from Covid-19.

'Seva Mandir's awareness materials are helping me and my family continue to work on our small farm in safety. I also told other families and my friends about how to protect yourself from the virus.'

The Village Institutions that Seva Mandir creates and facilitates are also a vital part of this campaign. Their ability to quickly share information amongst their communities using local methods has ensured the rapid spread of facts and knowledge regarding Covid-19.
